My life revolves around working with my hands, and I want a better "space" to get my projects done. My garage is very workable even with what I consider disorganization, but I know organization will make my life much easier.

I put all kinds of stuff out to one side of the garage for sorting, this picture is near the end of the process. I filled my entire roller trash bin and two 30 gallon trash containers.

I built this ladder rack about 6 months ago, it is working really well for me. A few months ago I took the butcher block from my "scrap bin" workbench and quickly built a rolling workbench. I can store a good bit of plywood underneath. The bench isn't finished, and a little wobbly, but it is serving the purpose of mobility at the moment.

My Craftsman roller combo was packed with tools, so my wife got this for me as a first anniversary present. A minor set back for space, but I needed one of these for awhile.

My tool corner for now. My miter saw is mounted to an old grill frame that the former owner left behind, lol.

I beefed up the legs on the bench and added a "rail" around 3 sides of the base. I did this so my plywood will stay under the bench and not side off. I plan on building a back and sides for the bench when I get time, but not any time soon.

I put my scrap lumber in a couple of trash bins. I don't have a real good home for these right now, but this is better than lumber laying around everywhere.

I built the little rattle can cabinet out of scrap from great grandfather's old workbench. I wanted something close to the wall that I wouldn't catch on. One of my toolboxes is close to this cabinet so I needed it shallow.

This is the start of many cabinets that I plan to build. It is anchored to the ceiling and the walls. I made this as an over flow for spray paint, caulk, paint thinner, etc.

My top priority at the moment is cabinets all down the back garage wall. I need to store coolers, sleeping bags, sports items, etc away. Once I put the walls up in my master bath this week the surround will be out.

I really like the re-use of the grill for your chop saw! That will make it very easy to roll outside. Also the re-use of your grandpa's work bench.
