Jc penny drill press?

Hello,
Picked a jc penny drill press today at yard sale. Has anyone ever heard of jc pennys selling drill presses?

Nope. All Google showed was this:

yeah, I seen that. This is variable speed low to high dial knob and on the side says 3/8" drill press with speeds listed for materials and bit sizes.

You can go to the FAQ's for that. The short version is to use the advanced reply button and scroll down to "manage attachments." You need your phone or camera card tied to your computer. You can also upload your pics to your HD or a photo host site and use the link there to upload here in the "manage attachments."

Penny's used to compete directly with Sears and sold tools. I still have a set I bought for a job I had 30 years ago. I still have the ratchets and most of the sockets.

Looks like a pretty nice deal for $10.00

I have a couple of much heavier drill presses upstairs in my barn, but I still keep my smaller one I got 20 years ago downstairs on my bench... comes in handy all the time for smaller work and doesn't take up much room.
