OK guys... time for a picture & idea thread for "Jeep" garages. NOT any old 4X4 now... No Yotas, or Broncos, or Ricer IFS vehicles. No tube buggies or rock crawlers. No FJ's. Your vehicles must have had a VIN number at one time and manufactured in Ohio or Michigan. (unless older Willys or non-US) I just thought this up while at work so I'll get mine up soon. Jeepskate, I know you can start!

On a planet with alot of really Stupid people
I like jeeps that have just enough lift in so you know there not stock, 2" - 4" is good.
One of these days I will own another one. Right now it just isn't on my priority list. One of my clients has a 2005 Renagade, Unlimited with around 3500 miles on it. They shipped it up here to their NH house when they bought the Unlimited 4 door. I am blessed to be able to use it and excercise it for them. Someday in the future I may see if their interested in selling it.

I'll start the thread at the bottom end. I've owned this old boy for almost 15 years, and it's never gotten a garage spot.

And I think I have to admit, after all this time, that this 1983 CJ-7 is the most reliable, best bang-for-the-buck car I've ever owned. Outside of a few batteries and four tires, it's never needed anything but gas and oil.

A cost-effective, reliable AMC -- whoda thunk?

Currently on jackstands to repair a broken driveshaft and mangled skid plate. I'll see if I can get a garage picture tonight.

OK, tucked in for the night (TJ daily-driver on the left)

Here is my jeep. I dont have any recent pictures here at work but here is one after I finished painting it in my garage. I was getting ready to roll it out and install my roll cage. I have been working on it for 3 years now and has just about everything I could want done to it. And it was all done at home in the garage!

Skyline: Too bad Paragon closed. The people who owned it now own the Badlands in Attica IN. I see that TC shell sitting in your cart.

CJ7 Maniac: Like the paint job. Get an more recent pic of how it looks now.

Jeepmedic, It appears as though you may be just a little stuck in your 2nd picture.

yea I needed a little tug, it wasnt as bad as it looks, the trail leader decal makes the photo though. I was working a superlift event at the Badlands on the Orange trail. The Jeep was 6 months old at the time and everyone couldnt believe it was being wheeled like that but my son and I had a blast.

Been dry fit back together and sitting in the back of the warehouse at work since we moved a little over a year ago. Hopefully I'll be bringing it home next week if AEP gets my power hooked up and I pass final inspection.

My Jeep has never been in the garage, but it does do a fine job at holding the driveway down. I put maybe 10 miles on it this year that was just moving it around the driveway and down the road to get the mail a few times.

Not too much left stock on it anymore other than the body. Been busy with other things and semi-lost interest as well.

My jeep is no "mail" jeep....much less a mall crawler.....

Most stock....except for the SAO, 5.7L SBC TBI, 4.10 gears locked front and rear...full roll cage....I have about 1" of clearance when I pull the jeep into the garage.

DSC04104.jpg

Oh....and a nice bumper (air tank) with a couple extra gallons of gas....

DSCN7300.jpg

And we used to have this Cherokee until last summer....sold it and bought a Vstar 650

Jeeps are about all I work on in my shop. I started out with an 83 CJ-7, sold it to work on an 82 scrambler that never got finished, bought a 79 Cherokee Chief and an 81 Wagoneer in there somewhere too, then it was on to a CJ-10 tug, had a 2001 TJ DD for a while, and now it's down to a 67 M-715 at least until I can stop spending money on the shop long enough to get another little-jeep project.

My junk:

Here is my 93XJ, very clean for a midwest Jeep (orig WI Jeep), with a built motor, lift, A9000 suspension. Purchased this way in a basket with a hole in the T case. Just need to replace T case and assemble to get runnin' again.

DSC01217.jpg

Here is the hole in T Case, not sure if it was due to the built motor as I purchased this way.

Nice Jeeps, guys...I'm partial to the ZJs, I have a '94 ZJ V8 Laredo that's my DD/beater. I've always wanted to lift it on 33s (had it 4+ years) but somehow that $$ gets diverted to my Z71 and GTO...

In the garage......damn deer...at least it was an 8 pt.

P1080421.jpg

And this one is not mine, belongs to a buddy. But I did help build it and it's been to my garage for some work, so I'm counting it. It's a 79 w/ the early grille, 6.1 Hemi, JK longarm suspension..blah, blah, blah. Photo at SEMA this year.

GEDC0243.jpg

Bought it new. Fun car. Had a CJ5 years ago with a 304 and 33's. Tub cracked in half up in the dunes at Silver Lake. Propped up the front end on some hunks of 2x4 and limped it out of there. Wound up selling it to one of the locals right there in the State Park parking lot. I miss the ol' girl.
