I have a metal fab shop and have been cleaning out some older equipment that I have laying around.
This was a project I worked on recently but have decided on selling it due to lack of space
The saw is in great condition and has been gone through completely, cleaned, painted and made repairs were necessary.
The oil lite bushings have all been replaced. The blade tension setup has been adjusted. The gibb screws have all been replaced and adjusted properly. The remaining hardware was all replaced with stainless steel bolts, nuts and washers.
The motor runs great and has a new male plug end installed along with a new on/off switch
I can only think of a few things that detract from the saw but these need to be mentioned.
The auto shut off, if it ever came on this model, is not present
The rear plate of the "vise" is a replaced piece of angle iron. I didn't even notice it wasn't original until I saw some pictures of complete saws. The back stop looks great and, more importantly, works great
The base of the saw is a bit worn and could use some paint. It sits a bit off so when the saw starts cutting, it tends to "walk" away it you don't secure it to the floor or wall
I would like to sell the saw locally but if you are out of state, I will do my best to work with you as YOU arrange the shipping. Pallets are easy to come by and I can easily accept a tractor-trailer/box truck to receive the saw. I will get the saw to you in one piece
