I usually go but the last few years it has been bad weather or I have been busy for the spring swap meet. I might make it this fall. I would like to see if I can find a nice C10 truck for a winter build.

We went Sat. Prices seemed High on automotive stuff. Not too bad on other things
I stopped to look at some Chevy p/u doors & the guy said he'd "give me a smokin deal on the hood". He tips the hood up & the underside is all rusty & the top had a spray-can paintjob.
I think he may have been "smokin" something because he wanted 75 for it. Real nice guys though.
I did find a TH400 for 15 bucks with a busted bellhousing to use for parts. Still looking for a good one for my 4x4 though.
I thought everybody would be crabby because of the rain on fri & kinda cold & wind sat, but besides not finding some stuff I needed, it was a good day.

I was there Saturday from 8-3
Cell phone Walking app says I did 6 miles of walking

Other than food and drink, only thing I bought was a pair of 1930's headlights with little turn signals mounted on top.

Ran into a buddy I haven't seen in 15 years. He now lives in St Louis, I'm still in the Chicago are, and we run into each other in Jefferson amongst 5000 guys looking at car parts and tools. Amazing as I rarely look at faces when I'm browsing for parts at swap meets...

The weather was quite nice on Friday untill the rain started at 4:00. I was worn out by then anyway.

Saturday was ok, but once again I forgot the location of all those treasures I passed up on Friday.

I did scoop up a Snapon tubing wrench to see if you guys are telling the truth re the superiority compared to other brands of tubing wrenches.

I came home with a decent pile of stuff. 4 tailgates, 1 bumper, 4 trailer hitch balls, 5 license plates and a tonka van for the kiddo.

Built the bench with a few of the parts
