Jet 1440 lathe

Anyone on here have any info on a Jet 1440D lathe.
Looks older from Picts I have seen.
Color is green, not white like new ones.
Found one on CL and am trying to determine value.

According to seller it was checked out. and all functions operate.
Any thing to really look for on this machine?
Any info appreciated.

Have a green Jet 1236, pretty decent belt drive lathe, far superior to comparable Atlas, South Bend, Sheldon, etc. Made in Taiwan, I bought it used many years ago for $500, been happy with it ever since. One especially nice feature is they cut std and metric threads. Don't know what to tell you to look for, other than the usual wear, broken gear teeth, strange noises etc.
