Jet HBS-1018 Bandsaw on casters?

I picked up a used HBS-1018 over the weekend. It needs cleaned up and minimal refurbishment. It runs great and cuts true. It's really bigger than what I need BUT if i can make it easily movable I'll keep it and sell my smaller bandsaw.

Does anyone see issue with putting it on casters? Weight is about 800 lbs.

I see no real issue with casters, but get good ones so it will roll easily . get locking wheels too I'd think.
build a frame so you can lower the saws height and keep the casters outboard of the saw to keep stability

I have casters on my 24" Kalamazoo- rigid on one end, swivel on the other. I have a tight little spot that it just fits into, and the wheels make it easy. Like The Cobbler said- offset the mounts to keep the saw fairly low. I never lock mine, and it stays put in use.

I had a Jet 1018 but sold it about 2 years ago when I replaced it with another saw. My jet 1018 was on casters and it was totally fine. Did great. Casters were kind of worn though so it didnt move real easy. It was a great saw though.

My 7x12 is still on the factory stand, but the saw it replaced was on casters. I put swivel casters on all 4 corners because space is tight in my shop. But I modified all of them so they could be locked straight to make it easier to steer when I didn't need to spin it around.
