I have been a fan of Williams sockets and wrenches. But I recently got a ratchet that was so caked with dirt and grease that it resembled a club. I scratched off the big pieces of junk on the handle and saw it was a “superratchet”. I was glad to add it to my pile of rusty goodness. I have always viewed the “Super” as a rather interesting and somewhat grandiose idea in an age when most every manufacturer was delivering arguably the best handtools ever made. After a great deal of cleaning and degreasing... I am convinced that they delivered “as advertised”.

This ratchet works as designed. It’s obviously not new, the wear is difficult to ignore. But it’s function is flawless. It’s tight tolerance probably leading to a loss of function when it was covered inside and out with grime. No repair needed.
I do have a question... What is the tooth count on this S-52?
Thanks in advance,
