Hi Guys and Gals. I'm new to the forum and live in Ontario, Canada. I have a Lesto jigsaw saw model 8550 that needs a new switch. Unfortunately, I have lost the original. Have tried different toggle switches but they all are just a bit too big. Has anyone who owns a Lesto jigsaw saw ever replaced their switch and with what kind? Have also thought of putting an inline switch but like the the original switch place. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Stay well all and thanks very much. Jim

You will have a lot more success now, and in the future if you title contains useful information, or at least is more specific.

Best of luck with your search.

Where are you sourcing your switches from? Have you searched online? I don't know what you have available up there, but I'd start by searching Newark, Digi-Key, and Mouser.

agreed. for example: "Lesto Jigsaw: Help finding suitable replacement switch"
in addition, posting pictures along with key measurements if you want a chance of someone who doesn't own your specific jigsaw trying to help you.

like bdbecker said, perhaps try large electronics parts distributors like digikey, mouser, etc?
if you browse for a while and check the datasheets (paying attention to the amperage and the physical part dimensions), i'd say you can probably find a suitable replacement for your saw. good luck
