I live in Sherwood Arkansas which is adjacent to North Little Rock.
I am 79 Years young and a retired Chemist. I like to read about old tools and woodworking techniques. I spent 3 years in the Army in The 22nd Ordnance Company in Munich Germany. I Was an Artillery Fire Control instrument repairman. I worked on the gunsights on 155 mm and 8 inch howitzers and also on binoculars. The gunsights were opitical and mechanical.
I am now disabled and cannot walk without a walker or stand without a support of some kind. Results of being a diabetic.
I read about the Wilton vises and their value, etc. I happen to have a Wilton
combination vise model 10159 and marked C2. It has five inch jows and in good condition. A newer similar model sells for about $1200.00. I bought it about 25 years ago from a next door neighbor who was moving from North Little Rock to Kansas city and couldn't take it with him.
