What brands is everyone using?
Looking to get me a set for my Vintage Hondas.

What brands is everyone using?
Looking to get me a set for my Vintage Hondas.

The Makita Impact Gold screwdriver bits seem to fit perfectly in the screws in some older Makita tools I have.
I remember My Philips screwdrivers not working well, so the Older Makita Crosshead fasteners were likly JIS spec.
Makita doesn’t offer full screwdrivers, but if you need a size 1,2,or 3, the bits are available in store, in different lengths.
The smaller 4packs seem to be made in Japan, at least for the crosshead bits.
The larger sets tend to say China, although the bits look the same.

I'd also recommend Vessel, specifically the Megadora 930 series if you want the serrated JawsFit tip to bite into the screw head, or the 4500 series if you want a smooth tip to avoid marring the fastener. (Or better yet, get both!) As you can see from the pictures, both types have a hex bolster for a wrench and a full tang to a striker cap.

Craftsman Vessel rebrand. Though my Wera screwdrivers will also work as they are 5260-PH/ISO 8763-1 compliant.

Love my Vessel "Woody" and "Impacta" drivers. Although if I had to buy them again, I'd probably buy the Woodys with the striking cap on the back.

The Craftsman rebrands are the Vessel Impacta (980) drivers. Not great for everyday use, but they are useful as a light duty impact driver.

I mostly have Vessels of various sorts and sizes, but I have also picked up a few small Anex drivers.

Another Anex is currently on the way from Japan.
