JIS screwdriver set recomedation needed

look for Vessel screwdrivers, not cheap but similar quality to wiha wera. Hozan is cheaper but very basic hard plastic handle, tips hold up well though

McMaster-Carr has a few JIS screwdrivers: http://www.mcmaster.com/#jis-(japanese-industrial-standard)-screwdrivers/=s42x7u. McMaster-Carr doesn't give brand names but their standard size JIS screwdrivers are actually Vessel. The prices for the ones they carry are decent. I didn't buy their miniatures so I can't say what brand they are.

I also have the vessels in #2 and #3. They hold on to screws as if they were magnetic. They're not.

If I were you, I would piece together a Vessel Megadora JIS screwdriver set. This is the set I would recommend:

I would not purchase Vessel from "RJR Cool Tools" only because he is expensive. I have purchased from him multiple times in the past. All transactions have been positive and provides great phone customer service.

Anyone actually ordered the Snap-on JIS screwdrivers from Katun? Are they really JIS? Hard to tell from the photo in the Katun catalog.

Wouldn't mind having some SO JIS screwdrivers if they were really JIS. I talked with SO Customer Service and they do have a #1 phillips JIS screwdriver but it is ESD and only sold internationally. The Katun screwdrivers look like standard SO stuff which is NOT JIS.

Hooked on Vessel, doesn't mean there isn't other options, they were just easier to get in the US. There as been a lot of interest in the Vessel line lately...

How common are p1 and p3 jis on a car? Most I have seen used is p2.

There is no need for a wrench to turn a p1 screw I suppose
