Job box organization

Any of you guys use job boxes in your trucks and if so how are you organizing everything in it, so that you don't have to take everything out of it to get what you need. I presently have two Grainger(Jobbox brand) 48" wide by 24" deep x 27.75" tall. Each have one tray along the upper back. Presently I load a bunch of Craftsman or Kennedy flat top boxes into them, but I know there has got to be a better way. Pics showing what you guys have done would be great.

A pal I remodeled houses with is **** when it comes to organizing. We both use enclosed trailers and I followed his lead of clear totes for all but the heaviest stuff. Tools are broken down by type of job. It is easy to sort and load this way. Much easier than a job box. Goes home with me also!

I don't use a job box but I've got a tool box in the back of the truck. I bought several of the different storage containers from HD and have my tools sorted into them. One for 3/8 drive socket sets (both SAE and Metric), One for my propane torch with solder, .... and there's room for one with nails and another with wood screws. Here's a small look..

I have all of the wrenches in wraps and that goes on top. I use them the most.

I have tried a lot of stuff, don't have a conventional flip top box anymore, just try not to let it get too deep. One thing that helped and is one of the best things I ever came up with is the box I keep on my seat, so easy to grab whats needed and keep an eye on things to have when needed. I have also sifted thru a lot of things and tossed stuff I don't really use, make everything double duty if possible, have one of something I might have 2 or 3 on my full size service truck, keep things I am not using daily behind seat.

my Knaack box is in my garage,and it is 60" long x 30" deep x 36" high- a bit large for a truck, but maybe it will give you a couple of ideas. I have 2 layers of sliding drawers for hand tools, and in the "basement" I keep all the large power tools and a couple of nail guns. Everything is accessable by sliding the trays left or right- no need to empty out to get to anything. Trays and supports are all made of scrap plywood.

Something I did was remove the tray along the back, which enabled me to store tool cases sideways, which allowed me to put a ton more stuff in the box. Fyi, the tray does provide some stiffening for the box, so I'm thinking about welding a piece of angle iron to the back wall where the tray was to solve the problem.
