Sort of sounds like you need some larger tools and maybe all the monkeying around loosened up the fastener could have broken it loose before you put the job smart ratchet on. A 1/2” ratchet of any brand won’t survive too many times with any length of pipe on it.

Go get yourself some 1” or larger stuff if you’re routinely working on large stuff. I am working on putting together a #5 spline drive setup to use in the farm shop on our larger stuff. It’s got a 14 spline 1-5/8” drive shaft that should take the 3,000ft/lbs I’m needing to put on things to loosen and tighten large stuff.

1” drive stuff maxes out around 1800-2000ft/lbs and 1/2” stuff is around that 500ft/lbs if I’m not mistaken. Picture a 200lb dude on a 10’ pipe ….. that’s 2000ft/lbs.

Big tools are expensive but so is breaking multiple smaller tools to do a single job.

Welcome to GJ !! I see you’re minutes old at this point.

You need a breaker bar, probably 3/4" or 1" assuming you have the sockets already.

I have a 1" 4 foot long breaker bar now, but the 1/2"jib smart ratchet is STILL my go to for removing ANY nut or bolt, a friend from the ahoskie shop brought his black Betty snap on battery operated impact today and tightened a nut so tight it almost snapped the bolt A 4 foot pipe and a job smart ratchet remover it after two coworkers broke their snap on and matco 1/2"drive ratchets lol

I liked the Jobsmart ratchet I had... Then one of the tiny Torx screws holding it together loosened up and fell out somewhere.

I use 90tooth JS ratchets, they are Apex ratchets and very similar to the Gearwrench. I believe the spud ratchet is also made by Apex, as most of our hand tools in the regular tool corral are. The stuff on the Promo Tables labeled Job Smart is a hodge podge of Chinese and Indian manufacturers.
