Introduction
40 year old guy, married, two kids. Born in Texas, currently in Alabama.
Mmi graduate 1997, Harley Davidson tech, general motorcycle technology
Currently work at large auto manufacturer as contract process associate
Formerly worked for Harley Davidson ***** company (8 years as r&d mechanic, 2 years project management)
Interests are manual machining (I have a very small mill and I'm rebuilding an old Taiwanese jet 10x24 lathe) but I'm not very good at it yet. Other interests include just about everything. Arduino, raspberry pi, old school electrical circuits, pcp air guns.
Worst thing about me, I don't have a real garage!!! I'm working on it tho. Kinda stuck in a bad position as far as employment and stuff. Kids will be grown in 8 years so I could move away to find better work, but I'm done "waiting" to do the things I want. Looks like one of the kids might not be moving on and away so I've got to start thinking about his long term well being. I've got permission from the property owners(wife's family, we moved back here to take care of them in exchange for use of this house) to expand the shop I have now(which is a walled in porch with loose brick flooring.)I'm starting another post about that soon enough.
