i bet they relabel it. It looks pretty beefy, and considering the quality point at that price ....i'm a supplier to JD.

I've been scouring the internet trying my google fu and the best I can come up with is a Mi-T-M ....looks like it, all the components are in the right place, ratings almost identical. Plus, seems like they are located next in Iowa close the JD mfg location. The high end shop vac also look to be from Mi-T-M

At that price I rather by a curtis compressor for that price. For 1800 you can get a 7.5 hp 29cfm@175 psi curtis compressor they been in business over 100 years

I believe they are rebranded by Mi-T-M, good stuff but very pricy. You could pick a decent IR compressor with similar specs. for half the price.

True. I've had some hit and misses with IR and issues with their warranty, so I'm kinda looking for American made, and also a dealer local. I know the JD dealer will take care of me since we do so much business with them. Just not heard of Mi-T-M, and could not find a reference to them here on this forum. Seems like they have a big operations, surprised no one has one here

Sure is purtty but I think you're paying for the name. You can probably get something the same or much nicer for the price.

oh and also on a new mower for my personal use, same dealer warrantied my deck that had something break in it, and rather than simply replace the part, he pulled a new deck off the showroom model and installed it on mine. To me, that is customer service so that is why I'm willing to pay a tad more to buy from him knowing that dealer will take care of the products they sell.
