I have an older john deere a22 120v electric pressure washer. It works, but I'm not sure if its working properly. There seems to be almost zero info on the web about these units. The way it is set up is: there is a selector switch on top of the wand trigger, it reads "off" "soap" "rinse". Off works fine. Soap and rinse do the same thing, it puts out some pressure but not the 1500 psi that its suppose to, i have a gas washer that is rated at the same psi as a comparison. Has anyone had experience with these? Should the switch cause the pressure to increase out of the nozzle? Or just open the valve to **** detergent from the tank? If it helps this machine was made in the 1980's
