I've used several in shops, it's a good bandsaw. You got a great buy. If you ever have trouble sleeping because of guilt.....

That's a killer deal. It's funny; full-size real saws like that seem to go cheap these days, compared to people who want $200 for those crappy little Chinese saws. I guess most people don't have the room for a big one. I got my 8X24 Kalamazoo for $160, but it's nowhere nice as the one you got. It's a space hog, but I put good wheels under it and found a spot to park it.

Those saws take up a lot of space, but they are terrific saws and are a beautiful design. The condition is wonderful.

That is a darn nice big Johnson and finding one that hasn't been abused is not that easy. Plus, it looks good in your shop!
