Johnson Hydraulic Water Ram?

Anybody know anything about this company? Not having much luck online.

It's a hydraulic Hill (water) Ram made by Johnson Mfg. in Seattle.

I've seen water rams made by other companies, but not this one.

Except for the noise which I’m sure would get very annoying if within earshot, very interesting . If demand is called for does it accelerate the motion of the machine ? Or is this used to fill a reservoir elsewhere ?

I know of several water rams that have been steadily pumping away on remote farms for many decades, a very neat, economical and well loved device. I'm told not much maintenance required, just letting water out of the air chamber and an occasionally new leather washer in the non return valve on the outlet pipe.
