Hi,

I have been viewing the forum for a while with garage envy and thought I would join and start my own build thread from Devon, England.

I love to build things myself and having kept the wife happy and completely renovated a 1950's house, so I now get to build my garage.

Jon

Thank you.

The house has been a year in the making, adding front and rear extensions, re-wiring, new heating throughout etc.

This is before, a picture that we had from the advert.

The whole house has been rendered with cladding added, one of the only jobs we have employed a builder for, the old garage will be converted into a room once the new garage has been built to the right of the house, still plenty to do but the inside is finished.

Jon: that looks like a lot of work and should bode you well for your new garage addition. post all the during pictures you want of the work you just did and when you start your garage you might want to start a thread over on Garage gallery to get a following. the more guys watching your progress is great when you run into a problem or have questions if you do at any point.

again welcome and thanks for sharing pictures
