I’m trying to see if there is something on the market that I can buy to clean up the joint between the joist and drywall. I couldn’t think of what to call it, so I just designed one, but would prefer to buy them rather than print out 36 of them. The roof angle is 17.5 degrees. Also, any recommendations on a good trim to use to close out the gap on that roof line where it meets with the drywall?IMG_3531.png

If your painting it all, why not backer rod and big stretch caulk on the joint to joist? For the gap at the ceiling use 1x4 or 6 or any other trim you like that has a tall enough profile.

Can’t really tell dimensions from the photo, but I would consider using a deck rail connector bracket. You could slice the back out with an oscillating tool so you can just slip it over.

Something like this - there are a ton of versions on Amazon too.
