jorgensen sliding i bar clamp

Hello all!

I ran across a pair of 72" jorgensen sliding i bar clamps but one has a broken spring on the sliding jaw? How/will this affect the use or function? Would it still work but me more of a pain to loosen up? Thanks

Jump all over the pair. You can probably replace the spring or rig up something around it. These are GREAT clamps. My personal favorite.

So I got both for 20$. After some googling it seems that they went of business last year. Bummer

Shouldn't be very hard to take the spring off the other and find one close at the hardware store
