Please check my theory,

I have a Clore JNC1224, can I leave it plugged into the wall (charging the batteries in the pack) and have it on the 12v port hooked up to a low/dead battery to charge like a conventional battery charger?

haha

yes, but that's not the best way to charge most batteries, especially one that's low/dead.
you'll usually get a better result if you be nice to it and charge it up slowly.
use a trickle charger or a battery tender or whatever.

My guess would be that the lead acid battery will drain the lithium to totally dead which will kill the cells. Use the jump start as designed or get a dedicated charger.
