Hi:

Merry x-mas. Attached is my current meter main+main panel outdoor layout with other jb's and conduit stubs. Just about everything here was done by remodel and solar ctr.

I'm installing a new sub-panel on the other side of this wall which is my garage. I pulled a 6 ga NM-B from this panel, up thru the 4" pvc, into the jb (pass above sill plate), and exit out the ceiling.

I installed the 3/4" pvc on the far left that turns left to get cables to some wireless access points elsewhere around the house. That 10x10x4 box on the bottom left terminate low voltage conduits from the street, 3 pipes. That 2" vertical pipe to the lb go to a 6x6x4 pvc jb above the ceiling (with "access hatch" cutout) on the other side which has a 2" pipe to a "comm closet".

I'm going to install 1" (x2) conduit path from a gutter box above the new sub-panel in the garage and terminate to that 6x6x4 jb on the other side of the lb.

I want to replace the lb with a same 10x10x4 box and get rid of the 3/4" vertical run and term to the new box. The new 10x10x4 box will also have a pipe to the square jb to the right of the lb.

My question is, would you leave the existing 10x10x4 box on the lower left even though I'll have the same size right above? Or remove the lower left box, install the upper one but extend the 3 pipes up the wall to the new upper box? Or any other ideas i'm not seeing? I'm thinking I need a jb (10x10x4) to replace the lb since that is a 4 way intersection: to left, to right sq-jb, pass-thru wall to 6x6x4 jb, and down to low voltage street stubs/conduits.

Thanks in advance.

Is this considered a lot? It's pretty common here if you have PV panels. It's funny you mention that idea which is not common here but my sister's house does have that sorta setup. Initially, I thought it was weird, but that would be ideal for me; keep all this stuff out of the weather and out of sight. But that's in a different lifetime. Anyway, I think I'm going with your thought process that it doesn't really matter, I'm putting too much thought into it.

Thanks!

"Lot" has a few definitions. I was referring to the lot as the group.
