Junction box size, 3/4 conduit

I may need a box to transition from 3/4 pvc to liquidtite. I'm going to try to avoid it and have the pvc go straight into the sub, but just in case, can I use a 4x4x2 box? It will be four #10 stranded THWN passing through and I don't expect to need it to hold any junctions. The pvc is going underground to a shed and the sub is an outdoor panel for my pool equipment

Thanks. So would you use a 4" box or a single gang, as suggested above? I feel like the extra room could be nice, but without any junctions, it's really just a pull box and a single gang is similar in size to a LB

If it were me, I would probably use a single gang just because I think they look better. It's your place though, so you do whatever you want to. If you're more comfortable with a two gang, go right ahead.

Without junctions you could use a condulet or use a rigid coupling to change over to PVC

I was thinking of a box to have a way to secure the conduit, but I could just do that with a hold down strap instead.

I've always been a fan of electric stove burner for bending offsets in pvc if you dont have a hot box to use.
Hold it about 3-4" above burner and spin it slowly to keep from burning,do it over an area around 12" along length of pipe so you can get a decent radius on the bend.

The sub isn't installed yet, just making sure I am prepared. It will be tucked being my heat pump for the pool, well out of danger of damage.

An electrician will be doing the sub and equipment hookup as part of the pool package. I'll tie my conduit in to feed my shed, off my own permit
