Ran across this while checking out pictures from home inspection nightmares. Lot of funny pictures on there but I look at this one and wonder why would you even try to fish another wire in there.

Aww heck, put a 2" extension with knockouts in it, and you're good to go for another 16 circuits! I'd love to know the story on that one though lol.

I don't see anything wrong with that picture at all. He has all the correct marretts on there. Each wire is with in the required length. Each wire is properly held in place with a wire crimp at the junction box.
Lastly, all of the wires are neatly pulled in each one is absolutely visible as to which one came from what point.
If you ignore the simple fact it is completely over loaded. That the box can not be properly sealed with a cover plate.
Then, it is all good . . . It is also accessible from any point from the ground looking up.
Otherwise I have personally seen things 99999999999% more dangerous and death defying then this old picture.
Which has been floating around for more than 7 years . . .

I can't find it now but I think my favorite picture was actually the motion detector light mounted above the shower.....afraid I don't know how long that one has been floating around.

"Marrette" means one is from Canukistan.
BTW, they are Ideal yellow Wingnuts, & 3M (Think they are Ranger) connectors 
, the connectors the cable is entering are for BX cable not NM & the box fill capacity is way over it's limit, not the worst thing but still **** work.

4" x 12" deep box would handle that just fine. LOL, I've seen service entrances with less cable in them.

That box has 12 holes for a reason, why waste any of them?
Aren't the connectors those plastic push in connectors for NM? Not that it really matters, you'd have to put about 20 box extensions on there to get a cover on it

You may be right about those connectors, there is no set screw visible so have doubts that they are BX conn. I was going by the opening of them so have to lean towards you being correct. It will not be the 1st time was wrong.

I was in a house the other day and asked the owner where the breakers were, he points to the bathroom. looked around and in the bath and shower combo was a medicine cabinet with a breaker panel inside of it!!! LOL!
