Junction boxes and conduit

Finally received my junction boxes, and will start running my conduit between boxes. The thought occurred to me "what if in the future I wanted to add conduit between boxes"?

Is there a simple way or would you normally run extra conduit?

If you want to leave room for future expansion, use oversized conduit and leave a pull cord in there.

That works sometimes but but depending on the type of conduit, and size and length of the conductors I've found it's easier to just use of the existing conductors, the pull wire WILL cut into PVC at damn near every single 90 and this in turn makes for a very difficult pull. Disconnect one conductor from both ends and tie on whatever wires you need including a replacement for the wire you are about to use as a pull wire.

That being said if everything was run in conduit you could be able to re-feed circuits with ease.

I have already with the help of the good people here over sized my conduit.
I was just thinking out loud to myself that once the junction boxes are screwed to the wall, and the conduit in place that there will be unused conduit knockouts.

My question was "is there some method" that would allow using those stranded knockouts.
Could a person cut the conduit in two, then slide a conduit connector on one section lift the conduit in place, and slide the connector over the cut area, and tighten the screws?

Call me crazy, but I bet many people have after 6 months said "I never thought of adding a circuit for that".

I have added and changed lots of things over the years, why I like the exposed conduit over the "clean look of in the wall" wiring. Added cabinets to a wall- moved the wiring (conduit), added a camper receptacle-came off of a junction box with new wires pulled from the main panel, went from a 16' door to a 10' and a man door- added a three way and receptacle between the doors some new conduit, added some wires in old conduit. Over sized makes it easier to pull anyway. I find with the conduit it need not be one and done, but that is what I need now, maybe not tomorrow, no problem.
