Good morning all,

I picked up a Jupiter heavy duty hose reel off eBay some time ago; it came with 50' of hose and was a good deal. I got it put on the wall recently and when I attempted to plumb it in I cannot figure out what size fitting it uses.

I have tried 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2". The threads do not look like npt or bps. I having included some pictures. If anyone has any ideas let me know because not being able to use this thing *****!

Take it to a hydraulic hose place, and they'll be able to supply a fitting to adapt it to whatever you want to connect to it. It is most likely not pipe thread.

Probably what they call o-ring port fitting. Straight thread with a counterbore for the o-ring to sit in. They are available at hydraulic hose supply stores, and auto parts stores that make hydraulic hoses. Steevo has the best advice.
