Hi everybody. I've been looking for Made in USA cobalt drill bit sets (M42 preferred but M35 ok) for a near-future purchase, and haven't had much luck beyond Snap-On, which I love but which my wallet doesn't love.

So I tried a search, as I've been doing, and followed your link. First thing I saw on the page was an icon of Delmar from O Brother Where Art Thou? and I knew I had to join because that's one of my favorite movies, and your forum looks like something I'd be interested in reading and maybe talking or posting with you all now & then.

I'm a part-time College Professor now, teach American Literature, put myself through college and grad school 8 years after I'd finished high school. But I also like to tinker with my car, I'm a kind of speed freak, and I used to be a gear cutter in a machine shop back in the 1980s before it went bust. We made mostly small gears for aerospace application, & I used to use the basic Fellows & Micron machines. (I don't know if this is too arcane or not for anybody to know what I'm talking about, but just skip it if so, it's not important).

While I teach, I'm also real concerned about the plight of the working man and the poor in this country with all the corporations, as they seem to take things over & ship our jobs overseas to make sick profits, and so I write about that from time to time, but I know better than to bring that up here or on any non-political blog.

So that's my long-*** introduction. Glad to meet you all.
