Just a quick hello from the UK..
Hello there Garage Journal..
Hope all you guys-n-girls are good...
I moved house last year and FINALLY find myself with a garden large enough to build a mancave/workshop/garage for my project car/dartboard...
Currently trawling through my options and what kind of budget I'll need.. not to mention the joys of UK planning laws...
My initial thoughts are 5m x 6m with a sloped roof 2.5m 1 side down to 2m on t'other.. which I believe should keep all parties happy?? And give me room to tinker, have both car doors open.. you know.. that sort of thing...
I'm away now to have a trawl through the site for ideas/guidance but if your reading this and have some pointers, feel free to hit me with links.. my main concern is keeping dampness as low as possible as bare steel/tools/lathes don't like that sort of thing!!..

No doubt I'll duplicate some existing threads in my quest for answers, apologies in advance!!!
