Recently rejoined the community and thought I'd just say hello. Hobbies, not in any order; If it moves-Cars, Boats and Aircraft, Weaponry, Photography, Drones and RC Cars, Boats and Aircraft.
30+ years in machining and Quality Assurance along with multiple other categories in my younger days from Oil Field in West Texas to Life Insurance.
I always stayed close to machinery through friends of jobs so I could build all of my past projects. Retired at 65, returned to the small community I really liked at a past work, been here for near 5 years and a 72, I don't see us moving again.
I have a shop, fully equipped with the everyday needs to machine, weld, cut, paint, Cerakote, picture studio and assemble literally anything I need to work on. I give thanks to God for it all.
Current project, replacing my 20 year old blast cabinet made of plywood with a new all steel shop built unit I designed on AutoCAD and Fusion 360. Sorry to be so long winded.
