Just a suggestion/curiosity...

Would it be asking too much to separate the Garage Gallery into two sections: a footprint of less than 24 x 24 and greater than 24 x 24? Maybe "Up to 2" and "2XL"? Dunno, just spitballing.

Just a thought I had. It would help keep the scale of similarities accessible. I love digging through the various threads, but I would really like to read in one category vs. digging through multiple threads to find what may or may not apply to a given parameter. It seems most members generate posts on topics that are within their own similar conditions.

Anywho, just asking,

There's over 10,000 threads in the Garage Gallery section, any thoughts on who would be reading through those in order to separate them into two sections ? Not to mention the new threads getting started.

I would agree with the idea of separating "monster" garages and "normal" sized garages....

Candidly, a person may want to specifically see garages and how everything is fit into a normal garage. Or they may only want to see some monster garages. When you go over a certain size, the type and quantity of tools are opened up....

Perhaps instead of a different section, allow some "filters" to be easily applied. Ask each gallery member to edit their thread to add the filters.

Some sample filters:

0 to 300 sq ft
301- 750 sq ft
750 to 2000 sq ft
2000 sq and up.

Residential Vs Commercial, etc.

Existing rehab or new build.

Attached to House or separate building.

Quantity of garage doors

Type of equipment or Focus: Metal working, Wood Working, Vehicles, Heavy Equipment, Hand Tools, Manual Machines, CNC machines, etc.

Etc.

When a browser goes into the gallery thread, they could easily select the filters to narrow in on their focus. If no filters are selected, then every thread is displayed.

Just some ideas to ponder.....

Banned for what, asking about something you have already talked about? I'm not sure I follow.

Bimmer's suggestion is probably a better "suggestion/curiosity". A filter may be easier with which to navigate.

The OP's comments are now deleted. It's what he said in that/those posts is what got him a time out.

I took Larry's comment about "me being proof of his answer there", as he was about to ban me for asking.
