Just about had it with Northern Tool

The attached screenshot is just so typical. "In Stock" until you click on the "calculate shipping" option. Then it's backordered.

I don't even know why I still bother going to their website nowadays.

Northern has been good to me with the things that I have ordered. The only problem that I had, Northern made it right for me.

I've never had a problem with Northern Tool. I think someone else bought the last one before you clicked on it. The site says it's no longer available. It was reconditioned so stock had to have been low.

Nope. Hours later, it's still doing the same thing.

EDIT: went back a third time and it does now show as no longer available. Perhaps my cache didn't clear.

Only "problem" I had was an email from them saying a tool cabinet I viewed was on sale for $249.99... but when I tried to buy it they would not honor the price. It was actually on sale for $549.99. It was a simple mistake on their part, so I guess I can't hold that against 'em.

I have had only good experience with Northern Tool. I get my stuff days before I expected and the stuff is top notch.

I checked again this morning and it's back to "backordered" or "in stock" depending on where on the site you look!

I am hesitant to try ordering it. Sounds too good to be true.

Not that it has too much to do with OP but.........last 1/2 dz times in Northern,have come out with nuthin.Usually shaking my head,swearin to never go back.And it ain't 'cause of the smell......they just don't have what we're lookin for?

The closest Northerntool is about a hour away and ive looked on website to see what I want and then go to store. Ive got there and like 3 times they never have what I wanted in stock. Its not something odd its like compressor fittings or a pressure switch. Getting tired of driving a hour just to come home empty handed.
