Haven't spent much time looking around, but wanted to say hello. Registered yesterday - my garage is such a mess that I need ideas - and a dumpster.

STEVE: one thing a lot of us have done to get some motivation is to post up pictures of our MESS or before pictures to let us know how far we have come later once we have it ORGANIZED. only a few members will make fun of the MESS and more likely than not they have a bigger one.

post up a few pictures and maybe this thread will help you with some of your issues.

I'll have to wait until I'm home in daylight to take pictures. Looking for ideas to get and stay organized once I retire in May. Right now I have a mish-mash of old kitchen cabinets and open metal shelving, along with some junky homemade wood shelving. AND TOO MUCH STUFF!!!

TOO MUCH STUFF seems to be a common thread running through here. I used to be organized, now have too much stuff and too many pojects. No longer organized and I retired 13yrs ago but there are a lot of good ideas here on GJ
