Just another 20x22 build... the beginnings.

Attached garage in my 12 year old house (original owner). This is my starting point. Besides the obvious, paint on the walls/ceiling, lighting, 100amp service to the garage, perhaps even locating a 30+ gallon compressor in the basement and plumbing out to garage, I'd appreciate ideas. Garage is in the Chicago suburbs so I get the temps from 95 above to 10 below almost every year.

I like the look (and cost) of VCT tile over epoxy. My concern is the slush and mud buildup throughout the Winter. I would think a decent floor squeegie could help in that regard as well as a mop.

I plan on losing the extra loose items and would like to add ceiling drop shelving along the side walls end to end.

Oh well.... the let the discussion begin.

Storage above the garage door.

It looks like you have a good 12-14" of vert space up there. They make some good racks that will hang from the ceiling....great place to store that stuff you don't access very often....and really frees up space on the side walls.
