I just applied epoxy garage floor coating and everything went well. That is up until the last section. There was a 3"x 3" spot that when i back rolled would come off. It has to be some kind of grease or oil that I missed. I just covered it because it was a little to late to do anything else. Is there any chance that this small spot won't peel? I did put the flakes on pretty heavy through the whole floor and even heavier on that spot.

That amount of flakes that are put down on the coating doesn't have anything to do with how well the epoxy will adhere. You won't know how bad it might be until it cures. Doesn't sound promising...
I spot checked for grease and oill spots cleaned them with mineral spirits. Then I cleaned entire floor with the etch that came with the kit; scubbing the floor in both directions and once during first rinse. After each section was etched and rinsed I rinsed entire floor two more time and squeegeed floor dry. I waited two days before applying coating. Its just the one spot that has me worried. If after curing and it looks and feels ok should I just let it go and hope that spot dont start peeling?

Some acids will help wick up contaminants. I would never recommend it as a degreaser by any means, but it can help.

Its about a foot in from the garage door so it should be safe from vehicle traffic.
If it's a foot in from the inside garage door (to the house) throw a floormat or mud rug over it and don't worry about it.
