Hey guys! I just bought a storage unit with an old tool box and came across alot of older things. Including a pipe wrench made in 1920 and alot of screw drivers and picks with wooden handles. I'm just curious if they are worth anything or maybe I should just hang them on a wall somewhere. I also found a merman table in great condition but anytime I've put anything on ebay I feel like i end up losing out most of the time.

The value of the tools would be contingent on what they are, who made them, and condition. If you like them, clean them up, keep them and do a little research on the alloy artifact site. You can always look them up on ebay to see what the market says. If you have one or two items of the group that have value, sell those. Locally, we have an organization that takes old tools as donations and sells them to raise money. Maybe you donate them. Hope this helps.

If this is a roundabout way of you implying that the old toolbox things are for sale and you thought you'd test the waters for flipping them here, note that SALES, sales ads, selling, selling poorly disguised as clever discussion, posting links to eBay sales, etc, etc etc are expressly forbidden here. The purpose of this forum is discussion. There is a CLASSIFIED section a forum below this forum on the main page where GJ members post wanted and sales ads. I probably don't need to tell you that members with 1,000's of posts validating them as a known and trusted person with discussion a primary objective and selling unwanted or unneeded tools a secondary objective do better than fly-bys.
