My wife and I just moved into our new house and I finally have that garage Ive been looking foward to since I graduated college. I'm an amateur woodworker so I have alot of wood working tools such as router tables, table saws, thickness planers, jointers etc so I needed something to clean sawdust up quickly. I also do my own mechanical work so I needed something oil resistant. I read up on as many products as I could and decided the Quikrete kit would be the way to go for my first time doing this (I have a pretty good sandblast setup so removal wouldn't be such a pain). After reading every horror story and watching every video I decided to forgo the kit and buy everything separate. Anywho, the floor has 2 coats of the epoxy and 3 coats of the clear coat with chips. Im more than happy with it so far, it looks great with 0 streaking, the only thing I goofed on was not thoroughly cleaning an R12 coolant stain (I drive VW) and it came up through the paint. Other than that Im pleased and for only $55 it was a great learning expirience. The only thing I have to say is if your going to chip, buy it at home depot, you get 2 times as much for a dollar less.
