Not sure I have the skills to restore this. Is there a market for it as is?

It is an old Parker. I have a Rock Island with similar mounting system. Great vise, and you should have no trouble selling it as is. If all it needs is cleaning and there are no cracks or repairs, I’d say it is about $150-$200.

Not a lot of skill required to use a wire brush. Won’t learn if you don’t try.

-Nobody has the skills the first time they do something. We here at the GJ like to encourage the learning/discovering of new skills with old vises. There's not much you can do wrong on an old vise with just a wire brush. Do you want to use this or just flip it? With either goal, a good cleaning can enhance what's still there. Don't use any abrasives (sandpaper, emery cloth, grinder) on it, just clean off the old rust. Making any surfaces shiny is NOT enhancing the value or the functionality. It's a bit messy to clean these, wear rubber gloves and be careful not to get flecks of rust in your eyes, wear safety glasses or goggles. Wire brushing will fling debris. You can do this or learn to. Photos after cleaning would be nice.

Here is a thread to poke thru when you need help on a task. A long read, but searching the thread for Your Brand may help. Or which part you are stuck on.
