Just found this S-8 blackhawk

I just found this old S-8 blackhawk floor jack. It looks older than the S-13 that I've restored. The badging is very different.
I've spent the last few days looking for some information on this jack but came up empty.
I'm wondering what time period it was used? What the weight limit is on it?
Any help will be much appreciated.

This jack screams early 20s to me. Certainly pre-dates the streamlined versions that came along in the 30s. I have never seen one of these before but the style is familiar and resembles a lot of the early Walkers from the 20s.
