Thanks guys. The only other box I've owned was a tiny craftsman type you carry job to job. I didn't want the typical red so I went with the blue. He also said he had one with a bed liner type material on the sliding top but I decided on stainless due to it being more flat.

Nice! Great to begin with and will serve well as a cart when/if you need to upgrade. Smart move.

I wanted something that would hold the tools I have now and a few more but didn't want to get too small or too big

Does anybody know off hand if there are any accessories made specifically for this box/cart as add ons?

Here's a few more. They were snapped with the crappy cam I keep in my car. The DSLR isn't needed for box shots lol.

Kind of ironic that i got a blue box with a blue flashlight haha, amazon only had the blue and it was a good deal so i bought it. I love the light though no matter what color it is!

Nice cart, man. I wanna get a midnight blue KRSC 46...

The difference between the two is what, that mine slides and the 46 has shocks for the top? Or is there more to it? I chose the sliding top because the cart/box is at a level that i can work on and i didn't lose any work space. Plus, i can keep what i'm working on on the stainless top and just slide it to access my tools. I specified that i wanted a box with a deep top for sockets and whatnot. I'd like to buy a few more tools and fill the box up, most of my stuff is just placed however because space isn't an issue right now.

Nice cart, especially for a first box! That's what I would like to upgrade to. I have the smaller 3 drawer Snap-On cart.

I think the '46 has holes for pry bars/screwdrivers along the sides, not sure if yours does. The area I'm thinking of leaving it is pretty tight and the sliding top wouldn't work so well. Different strokes, different folks.

Nope no drivers/pry bar storage. I just keep em in a drawer. There's 4 bolt holes on the side I'm sure I can make something

That's probably okay... if I get one I'll probably just feel like I need to fill it up with Snappy prybars...

Haha snap on boxes are a slippery slope. Last sept I upgraded to a blue point cart, 3 months later Iupgraded to a kra and more I'm in a krl with intentions on upgrading to an epiq in a few months. Lol my driver gives me what I paid in trade in. He threw in a cover for the krl because he knows he'll see it again.

Congrats on your new box

That box looks gorgeous... For a first box that was a very wise choice, and the
type of box that will be happy living right next to your last box too. Lovely.

There's nothing like your first nice toolbox! It was fun when I was starting out to fill my new toolbox up over time. I really like those new carts.

Thanks guys. The top came in handy today having to solder up a radio harness for my girls car. I liked that screws and such wouldn't roll off

I wish I had a sliding top! Flip top *****, I built a rack on my lid using bunge cord to hang my ratchets/extensions/etc. on but would rather have a top surface to actually work on stuff. Nice box, once you fill it up you'll have to expand though! Only buy what you need!

The only negative thing I can say is the stainless top scratches very easily. Not tough at all
