Hello and where have I been not to have found this place sooner.
I've only just come across the forum in the past few days and have only just started to scratch the surface.
I'm currently occupying my late father's garage that I've started to organise (big job... no.... huge....!) I'm still finding specialist tools of all kinds. Somewhere in here is an old Hercus metal lathe that still works but I've limited access to unless the boat gets pulled out.
I work 9-5, 5 days a week (whispering: behind a desk massaging spreadsheets) when I'd rather be in my shed....! my problem is too many tools and not enough room. I'm working on it though.
Well off I go exploring the forum. I'm sure the wealth of shared knowledge on here is priceless. Hope I can contribute too.
Cheers
Rob

A recent project and a quick walk around of my place here. Watch ya step. she's a bit crowded in here...

Welcome Rob, by the look of the cordless drill rack I think your Dad may have known about GJ.
I'm in Adelaide and soon heading to the Hunter to sort out my Dads collection.. I wish he'd had a just a double garage.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for the introduction and video link.

Is the organizing we see in your dad's shop your handiwork or his? 'Cause whoever did it deserves some accolades... well done  The fishing pole storage as well as the cordless drills are a tip of the hat that somebody is on the ball.

Word of caution, try to remove all galvanize back away from the weld prep area before making the weld. Breathing those fumes can make you sick... known as “metal fume fever”.

Thank you all for your comments.
Yes the cordless tool storage and charge station was another one of my recent additions. Not my own idea of course but fellow You-tubers. I just customised it to my own needs.
I have a side driveway to the garage which I'm looking at covering and enclosing to expand my storage and work area. Drafting up some ideas and hope to share soon and maybe start my own thread.
There is a Ford under the cover. Mostly a weekender and road-tripper come holiday times.
I'm neither a Ford, Holden or other make supporter but rather hold more of an appreciation for what takes my interest and likes.
Daily driver is a Triton ute cab chassis.... tows the boat okay for the moment and is an auto which beats driving the pig the Ford can be in heavy traffic having a manual box.
