I'm thinking about buying the full polish 7-22mm (952) from Toolbarn as well. Looks like a really good deal. Plus, Toolbarn offers a 10% military discount!

Please follow-up with a review post once you put the set to work:)

From everything I've read, I'm sure I'll have them for a long long time. Any dealings with Wright's customer service? I know they're not a huge company so I would imagine they must have good CS.

I bought my first Wright tools in the mid 1970s, worked them hard, never a failure.

That's the best customer service

I had a bent/broken Wrightgrip wrench in a lot of items I purchased at an estate sale. I called Wright to see if a replacement was available to purchase and if any local store carried them I found out after a nice conversation with the lady on the other end a new wrench would be waiting at a local tool store,Production Tool and I could go in and exchange the bent/broken one at any time. I had made it clear I was not the original owner and it was told they warranty the tool not the buyer. Not long after that I purchased both a metric and SAE set of Wrightgrips.

I think their combo wrenches and sockets are of amazing quality for the money. The ones I have are beautiful.

I saw the realtools review of the Wrightgrips where he demonstrated the superiority of the open end over the Gearwrench/CMan variety. Nothing said about the box end however. Since I rarely use the open end I wonder what the virtues of the box end are compared to CMan/Gearwrench. Thinner? Better grip? less elongation?

The quality of their handtools is amazing,I would definitely buy more if it was more readily available in the UK.

I recently got the WrightGrip 915 (5/16" - 1-1/4)" and 958 (7-24mm) sets from Amazon. I like everything about the tools except those stupid denim and plastic rolls they come with. I had to return the first 915 set I got because the plastic pockets were torn to hell and Wright wouldn't warranty it. The second set of 915s I got, the rolls were still junk, but I applied a strip of vinyl tape over the rips in the plastic and so far, that's worked okay. The roll that came with the 958 wasn't as bad, but there were still rips in the plastic. Again, I had to use vinyl tape. You shouldn't be forking out $500 for wrenches that comes with such terribly made rolls. The rip-stop nylon rolls my old Craftsman Professionals came in were a THOUSAND times better. I'd have more respect for Wright if they just shipped the tools loose in a box. Those cheap-assed rolls with the "Inspected by" sticker made me think that it was some kind of practical joke.

As for the wrenches, they're awesome. I just won't hang the rolls on my pegboard for quick access. There's my rant for the week. :willy_nil

Received my Wrightgrips the other day. First impression I was completely blown away at how comfortable the wrench is in hand. I threw a 3/4" wrench open end on an old rusted out trailer hitch and that sucker BITES. I cannot believe the quality of these wrenches at the price point and to say I'm pleased is an understatement. The chrome is absolutely beautiful. My favorite wrenches by a mile. I can assure anybody interested in them but hasn't yet pulled the trigger on buying them that these are the best quality wrenches on the market and not just for the money, although that is even more incentive to buy them.
