Well, after reading a few threads on here it was pretty clear that the Weaver, Walker, Milwaukee, USA made jacks where the way to go.

So began my search and found a Weaver 2-ton and picked it up today.

I have already been in contact with Hiball to help me fix it up.

I do not have very much time to work on it now but i will try to source all the parts i need for now.

Just wanted to share.

Very cool jack, they truly do not make them like they used to. I'm going to have to get me a small vintage one.

A very Cool Jack, all welded frame and they still sell them. By far the easiest jack to work on, Im not kidding one bit.. Ive worked on many of these jacks and ive heard some stories that reference 50 years worth of use with "NO PROBLEMS" Its a very simple design but its defintitely a Quality Jack.

The newer ones use the same unit and they look very similar, You will find some art deco styling on the wheels on the older models.

There have been numerous companies sell these jacks with there paint scheme including US JACK, OTC etc

It's the deco styling that I like, but I'd like to get a smaller one (not the long frame, standard frame?) if they make 'em. I saw a real cool smaller one (the wheels were semi-enclosed) at an estate sale a while back, didn't grab it right away and someone else did.
