So a friend of my parents cousin dad passed away and he had a garage full of tools (he was a DIY guy and also owned a car repair/gas station). My friend knew I was in need of tools so we went to his house to see what he had. I brought $300 knowing I needed more but thats all I could afford, As soon as I walked in bingo!!! The first thing I see is the wrench set followed by the crowsfoot set< boom moneys already spent. I knew the guy was a tightwade so Im thinking theres no way I can afford the wrench set and crowsfoot. I tell him $250 and he said hmmm O.K., I tried so hard to keep my composure and not jump for joy woohooing in front of him. Then I though well I still have fifty bucks and I could use a hand carry tool box for home, look down and picked one up and made a deal for the tool box and two matching 1969 Texas licesne plates for $30!!!
