Just starting to get it together

I guess it's time to start my build thread. I moved into this place about a year ago and haven't had time to get it together. With summer coming, I figure it's time.

All I have had done is the lighting. They are the HD led linkable lights. I love them, but I'm not real happy with how the electrician hooked them up. He wired up outlets, plugged in the lights, then zipped ******* the cord next to the box. It's fine, but it tests my OCD.

My plan is to cover a lot of the wall space with corrugated tin. There is a funky plaster on the wall right now as well as a few holes and bare drywall. The wall opposite the car will be tin from top to bottom. The ready will just have it up to about 4'. The rest will get a brown paint that matches the house. I would love to do new drywall, but it's just not in the budget.

I'm going to get rid of the work bench on the wall on the passenger side of the car. It shot. I plan on hanging what I can on the wall, such as my creeper, fold up welding table.... I will give me room to move the car over a little.

My main problem with this garage is the stairs. They are cut at a funky angle and they take up a lot of space. I'm thinking of getting a ships ladder or something I can raise up toward the ceiling. (Suggestions would be greatly appreciated)

I'm still not sure about the floor. I like the look of just about all the options. I do weld from time to time. I'm not super picky about a perfect floor, but right now it's got paint and stains all over it. I am leaning toward just getting it polished, but I'm not sure if it's an option with all of the stains (or if I can afford it)[emoji16].

Her are some pic to show you all what I'm workin with. Suggestions and opinions are welcome. I've got thick skin so feel free to be honest. [emoji12]

Those stairs look way too flat. I bet they are hard to climb too, Get that corrected, then build dedicated storage under them. Just google " under stair storage" and go to images to see what can be done.

Ratdoggy, my Mustang senses kicked in and looking at those lines, it couldn't be a pony.
And yes, Some Falcon parts were used on the stangs!
All right, no holdin back T-bone...show is the Falcon or it isn't so!

Still a little disorganized, but I'm making progress.

What's you shop kitty's name? I see kitty resting on your car in the earlier pictures.

That's poppy. My daughters best friend and she keeps the garage mouse free.
