Hey, I just bought Super Lube Synthetic Grease with Syncolon Multi-Purpose Lubricant because I was told on here to buy Super Lube Clear Grease for the sliders/bearings of my HF US General Pro tool chest drawers. I'm assuming this is the right grease since it was basically all they carry like that. Comes in a 3oz tube and is obviously clear. I lubed the **** out of my sliders and wherever I could reach the bearings - only able to reach 1 bearing on each side of each drawer. Any advice?

Should be good. There is only one Super Lube that I know of. Did it do what you wanted? If so it is the right stuff.

I bet it probably works well, but I wouldn't use something of that consistency since it'll attract dirt. I prefer something thinner on my drawer slides, even friction slides.

If you can't take the drawers out, apply some grease to the tops and bottoms of the intermediate slide members; that is the surface where the steel balls roll on. By applying the grease to that area, the steel balls will roll over the grease and pick the grease up.

Super Lube with the teflon is becoming my "one-size-fits-all" grease. It is a bit thin (in my opinion) for most bearing requirements, but, not having to have multiple greases around for different jobs is really nice.

And I have used it to repack the ball bearings on my dremel tool. If it helps 30,000 rpm balls it's gotta be worth something!

I made the mistake of using white lithium grease on my drawer slides. I didn't figure out it was a mistake until 20 years later... now that it takes a prybar to open some seldom used drawers. I would have been far better off to not grease the slides at all.

The grease coagulates like glue over time. It takes years for it to happen, but when it does, expect to dent a few drawers just to get them open. Thinner lubricant might be a lot better.

BMW used white lithium to lube the window tracks on my '98. I recently removed the door panels to clean/lube the tracks because the motors couldn't open/close the windows anymore. Coincidentally, I used Super Lube on the tracks.
