mornin all, after a few google searches and this forum popping up i decided hell with it ill just sign up so i can get the full meal deal. just built myself a 24x34 shop, finally after all these years i got to build the garage thats in my head.
poured the slab with a 6" rat wall, 2 9x7 insulated doors, 1 6x7 entry door on my end for my motorcycles, atv's mowers etc. insulated, drywalled /painted and wired it up....some say overkill but i say you can never have enough outlets, although 45 may be pushing it. used insulated foil back r-board for the ceiling and lighted by 12 2'x4' trauffer lites with 4 t-8bulbs each. 2 ceiling fans, 220v new ac unit, modine big maxx hanging furnace.
ok.....so im trying to get ideas on workbenches....my bench layout is 8' by 24" deep with a 5' L on the end (1st pic area). ive already got it wired for that with outlets over and above the bench every 32".
soooo, i know how to build it, but what are ya'all doing as far as work surfaces, drawers, cabinets etc.......i want to maximize the space but dont want to kick myself in the *** after its built.
