Sold my last build about a week ago and the Guy sent a roll back to pick it up today. I think a tree rolled down my cheek as the roll back drove off with it. Me and my pops put some time in on this one and the both of us are heart broken to see it go but life happens and you do what you have to to make the ends meet.

Never give it a name if you plan on selling or slaughtering it...

Look at it this way, it gives you and your pops the opportunity for your next build that will be even better!

Did it hurt when the tree rolled down your cheek?

Just pokin' fun at ya...

You know what the bright side of it is? Now you've got a blank slate to start from to build a new one.

Already in progress on the next one. 68 Triumph Bonny chop of course. Here have some eye candy.
The last one is my pops a vast knowledge of old school style that he had the ability to learn first hand. Thanks ole man for passing it to me.

The bike may be gone, but the memories of time spent with Dad will be with you forever.

Same thing happened when I sold my mostly hand built Triumph a couple of years ago. I built, and rebuilt over 20 years and it was one of those bikes that turned out exactly the way I envisioned it.But,financial necessity won the day.Sold it on ebay, and it went to Wisconsin somewhere,so at least I don't have to see it around town.

We all give up stuff near and dear to us at one point in life or another. My personal attitude has always been, I woke up on this side of the grass this morning so the rest of the day is a bonus. With that in mind, there are plenty more *things* in this world and I'm gonna go find something I like today...:3gears:
