Ok my turn to start a gallery and report on my slow progress.

In the summer of 2010 we moved from our town house to a single.

10x20 to 18x20.

Since then when time allows I've been improving the layout and bringing the garage back up the function level I had in the 10x20.

I still have minor electrical projects, insulation, dry wall, painting, new garage door with seals and I don't even want to talk about the 20 year old concrete floor ;)

The photo show the following.
Pre-move in. I do not think the floor was ever treated.
I had wanted to do this before we moved in, but time did not allow.

And when I did move in. I had to hang all the cabinets right away. Other wise they would have sat on the floor for months.

In the spring of 2011 I began to sort the back wall out. Framing allowed me to hang and position my benches and cabinets in a more logical order.

Once the back wall was sort.
I'll dry wall the whole garage this coming year.

I was able to route more electrical power to the bench and heater.

The benches will be bolted to the wall and framed off at the bottom so nothing can get underneath.

The bench/table with the vise will be raised and sit on stronger supports.
Its my beating and welding platform.

I did install a bathroom venting fan. Really handy to remove the fumes from the cars.

Also put the 5 banks of lighting back in. I look forward to painting the ceiling nice and white.

Last 3 photos from garage 1.0. A simple 10x20 but it worked well for me over 10 years.

Lots on my plate.
Not to mention work on the toy cars before the spring.
I figure I'll deal with the small electrical stuff next and then insulate and vapour barrier section by section. With winter setting in I want to try and keep the temps up better in the garage.

I really need to address the gaps on the garage door too.
Weather stripping and foam strips on my list for the next HD run.

Congats on the upgrade! More room is always a plus. Keep us updated on the progress, no matter how slow.

Thank you Boosted1.

The blue one is a Triumph GT6 is my weekend toy.

I've owned it for a while now. Love driving it. Its a little rocket.
I've done some AutoX with it, but went with the FIAT when I decided I wanted to race.

And the FIAT is a 1972 124 Spider.
I race it in the vintage series here in Ontario.
Big bore under 2L category.
